Our Story: The Journey That Led to BuzzUps

 

​ Jack and David, didn’t always know we’d end up here, creating BuzzUps. We both come from small-town backgrounds in New Brunswick, but we were searching for something more—something meaningful.

 

For David, it was a wake-up call. He was working as a welder when a near-fatal electric shock nearly took his life. That shocking experience made him realize how precious life is and how quickly everything can change. It pushed him to think differently about what he wanted to do with his life, and that’s when the idea for BuzzUps started to form. David wanted to create something that could make a real difference in people’s lives.

​​​​​​​​As for me, I was stuck in the grind of a car detailing business—repetitive work with harsh chemicals that left me feeling drained and disconnected from any sense of purpose. I knew I needed to make a change, and when David and I started talking about our shared desire to build something that could change lives, BuzzUps was born.

​​​​​​​​​Together, we decided to take a huge leap. We packed up everything we owned, drove 5,800 km across Canada from New Brunswick to Vancouver, and started working tirelessly to bring BuzzUps to life. We didn’t have all the answers, but we were determined to make a product that would revolutionize the way people consume caffeine—something healthier, more convenient, and more effective.

Our journey wasn’t easy, but it’s been worth every sleepless night. BuzzUps is more than just a business to us—it’s our way of creating change, one gummy at a time.
